Pre-Delivery
When you purchase an all-American-made pool from BrightWater Pools, your trusted online above ground pool store, we want to ensure a smooth and successful receipt of your new above ground pool or pool products. Our important pre-delivery page contains all the information you need to know before your shipment arrives.

Order Confirmation
Once you’ve selected your above ground pool kit or related products and checked out using the BrightWater Pools secure site, you’ll receive an email confirming your purchase.
Delivery Scheduling
A representative from the freight carrier will contact you to schedule the delivery of your new above ground pool. Have your calendar ready to be prepared to discuss options for an available window of time on your chosen delivery date.
On delivery day, you or an authorized representative must be present to meet your driver, receive your shipment, and sign for the delivery. If you opt for delivery without being there in person to receive your order, you assume responsibility for any damaged or lost items. There is no recourse or returns if this option is chosen.
If you are unable to accept the delivery at the scheduled time, please be aware that you may incur extra charges for redelivery and storage.
Shipment Inspection
The day to receive your new above ground pool has finally arrived! Get ready for a successful installation by following these important steps. DO NOT SIGN FOR YOUR DELIVERY until these steps are completed.
- Shipment Arrival: Above ground pool kits or other H.I.I.-manufactured products will be delivered by FedEx® or semi-trailer, with items securely placed on a wooden skid and wrapped in red plastic shrink wrap. If you ordered an above ground pool heater, robotic cleaner, pool fencing, or salt generator, your purchase will be shipped separately from the H.I.I. pallet.
- Shrink Wrap Inspection: Before accepting your delivery, ensure the red shrink wrap is completely intact. If it is torn or missing or if there is damage of any kind, make a detailed note on the Bill of Lading.
- Box Inspection: Remove the shrink wrap and inspect for any opened or damaged boxes. Record any visible damage on the Bill of Lading and take photos for documentation.
- Item Count: Verify that the number of pieces delivered matches the count listed on the shipping order consists-of list attached to the outside of the shrink wrap. If there are discrepancies, adjust the count on the Bill of Lading accordingly.
- Assembly Pack Box: Find the box labeled Assembly Pack and review the enclosed above ground pool breakdown list to confirm all parts are present. Write the inspection number that is on the outside of each box. Do not throw your boxes away until after pool installation is complete.
- Damage or Missing Item Reporting: If you discover any damage to the products or missing components, contact BrightWater Pools immediately at ohana@brightwaterpools.com. Freight claims must be initiated within five days of delivery.
- Paperwork: Finalize any notes on the delivery paperwork and make a copy or take a picture of the paperwork for your records. Please note that there cannot be any claims made on paperwork that is signed “free and clear” of damaged or missing items. You will assume all liability for your delivery once the paperwork is signed.
Your due diligence will go a long way in making sure everything is as it should be on the day of delivery. Will your delivery driver wait while you work through all these steps? These steps are pretty standard for large freight deliveries and should take 15 minutes or less to do a check of your order.
Warranty Registration
To activate your H.I.I. warranty through BrightWater Pools, please register your new above ground pool or pool product(s) immediately by using the warranty card provided. Online warranty registration links are available for some products.
